COMMUNITY SPIRIT FUND
Since April 1, 2006 South Beach Casino & Resort has donated $1,400,000.00 to the South Beach Casino Community Spirit Fund.
These donations are providing funds for community projects in the area of economic development, education, cultural/social, health and recreation/sports.

PAST HONOURED RECIPIENTS
Spirit of Giving Program - $50,000
South Beach Casino & Resort Board members Chief Larry Barker and Chief Debbie Chief were pleased to present a cheque for $50,000 to the Spirit of Giving at the 15th Annual Spirit of Giving Fundraising Golf Tournament on June 25, 2009. Accepting the cheque on behalf of Spirit of Giving was George Boyd, Executive Director of Southeast Tribal Council. The Spirit of Giving is a non-profit organization that works to raise funds for recreational activities for Aboriginal youth in our communities. Todate, the total donations given to Spirit of Giving from the South Beach Casino & Resort Community Spirit Fund amounts to $150,000.

Children's Wish Foundation - $10,000
Joining the Victoria Beach Police in their Annual Charity Bike Ride on July 23rd, 2008, South Beach Casino Community Spirit Fund donated $10,000 to the bike ride to gather donations for the Children's Wish Foundation.
The ride took place from Victoria Beach to Winnipeg, leaving from the front gate of Victoria Beach at 06:00 am and arriving at The Forks at approximately 01:30 pm.

Victoria Hospital - $100,000
The hospital's new 13,000 square foot Cancer Centre will include additional treatment spaces and facilities for cancer patients and their families. -Sun Media
